Job summary

Lone Star College System is seeking a Coordinator III, Student Activities to engage students through activities, organizations, and community service. You will support the Director/Program Manager of Student Activities/Student Services and develop engaging programs across campuses.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree with at least 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination, strong communication skills, and proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the assigned area and acts as SME and point of contact.
• Coordinates day-to-day operations of the student lounge; promote involvement and advise student leaders.
• Creates and submits reports; performs analysis and presents findings.
• Assists with evaluation of programs and recommends process improvements; develops new programs.
• Collaborates with internal and external groups to coordinate activities and events; plans meetings and site prep.
• Monitors budget expenditures and resources; submits requisitions and reconciles documents.
• Hire, train and supervise student work study staff.
• Takes part in and/or leads special projects as needed.
• Responsible for other related duties as assigned.
