Job summary

Fluvanna County Public Schools Transportation Department in Palmyra, VA seeks Athletic & Activity Events Bus Drivers to transport students to events on a non-regular basis. Qualifications

• Valid Virginia Driver's License required.
• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Hold or obtain a Virginia Commercial Driver’s License with required endorsements (training provided).
• Able to communicate with administration, staff and the public professionally.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-trip inspection of school bus prior to every trip.
• Operates bus on approved time schedule.
• Drives safely with students as the first priority.
• Reports bus incidents and student injuries to authorities.
• Complies with state and local regulations for transportation of students.
