Job summary

UNC Pembroke's Bursar Office seeks a Student Account Analyst to administer, develop, and monitor student accounts across the university. This role requires analytical thinking, sound judgment, and strong time management to support campus-wide operations.

You will handle Perkins Loans, refunds of excess funds to students, parents, or sponsors, and oversee debt collections in accordance with state and NC Attorney General policies, coordinating with Admissions, Financial Aid, and the Registrar.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in accounting work; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Optional Guidelines: Contributing: High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience in accounting work.
• Journey: High school diploma or equivalency and three years of experience in accounting work.

Responsibilities

• Administer, develop, and monitor student accounts across the university.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Financial Aid, and Registrar Office.
• Manage Perkins Loans and processing refunds of excess funds to students, parents or sponsors.
• Administer the university debt collections policy and related state/North Carolina policies.
