Job summary

EduStaff supports Flint Community Schools by providing a Student Service Monitor to assist students with online therapy and instruction sessions. The role includes escorting students to online access points, helping with logins, and documenting participation while maintaining a focused, professional environment.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, exhibit patience, and possess strong listening and communication skills.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience with children or adolescents preferred.
Patience, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Good listening and communication skills.
Ability to assist students with using computer programs.
Must complete pre-employment screenings (criminal background check).

Responsibilities

Escort students to and from their assigned classrooms and online access locations.
Assist students with logging into virtual platforms and troubleshoot login difficulties.
Monitor and document student participation and attendance in online therapy sessions.
Maintain a distraction-free environment by avoiding personal conversations and device distractions.
Provide encouragement to keep students engaged and report conduct violations as needed.
Uphold confidentiality and school policies; attend required trainings.
