Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking a Stryker Combat Vehicle Mechanic to support the Fort Carson Stryker Brigade. The role ensures readiness by performing inspections, diagnostics, and timely repairs on Stryker vehicles.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of mechanical experience on tactical vehicles, with preferred Stryker exposure, and must be able to work independently in field, shop, and office settings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years mechanical experience on tactical/combat vehicles, Stryker experience preferred
• Documented training/experience acceptable in lieu of military vehicle experience
• Ability to work independently in field, shop, and office environments

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Stryker vehicles for faults and deficiencies.
• Use download equipment to read data and manage software configuration.
• Identify parts using IETM, schematics, and vehicle configuration.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on Stryker vehicles.
• Repair subsystems and LRUs, disassemble/replace worn parts, and test.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems across Stryker variants; complete paperwork.
• Maintain special tools, test equipment, and PPE; use MS Office tools.
