YOUR MISSION

As aStructures Technician, you willhelp build our next generation of spacecraft andspace systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in hands-on fabrication, assembly, and integration of advanced aerospace structures. You will also play a vital part in thesetupof our new manufacturing facility, ensuring the highest standards of quality are met as we scale up our operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assembly : Build, assemble, fit, and install precision structuraland mechanicalcomponents for spacecraftand space systems, working from engineering drawings and work instructions.

• Integration : Collaborate closely with engineering teams from design and manufacturing across all subsystems, including fluids and propulsion, avionics, mechanical and structural, test, and quality teams to integrate mechanical structures into space vehicles.

• DrillingandTolerances: Perform precision drilling operations to specified tolerances usingappropriate toolsand techniques. Ensure proper hole alignment, cleanliness, and dimensional accuracy. Conduct countersinking, reaming, and riveting asrequiredto meet NAS standards.

• FasteningandJoining : Install rivets, bolts, hand fasteners, and other structural fasteners with precision, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and finish. Verify correct torque specifications and fastening procedures according to aerospace standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• Tech degree or certification in relevant field

• Years ofexperience in spacecraft or space products assemblyin line with technician level

• Demonstrated excellence instructural and mechanicalassembly and integration

• Proficiencyin reading engineering drawings, schematics, process sheets, and work instructions

• Experience with electrostatic discharge sensitive, foreign object and debris critical, and cleanroom operations

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to lift 25lbs and work in and around constrained and confined spaces

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Machining andcomponentmanufacturing experience

• Operating industrial and other large machinery

• Experience with crane and other lift operations and rigging

COMPENSATION

Base Salary:

• Technician Level 1: $32-45/hr
• Technician Level 2: $40-55/hr
• Technician Level 3: $50-70/hr
• Technician Senior Level: $65-85/hr

Your actual level and base salary will bedetermined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Work Location —Successful candidates will be located near Long Beach or Los Angeles. While we observe a hybrid work environment, some work must be done on site.

• Work environment —the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person’s working conditions while performing the job.

• Physical demands —the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.
