Responsible for mechanical maintenance and repair on commercial aircraft types.
Proficient working knowledge & ability to perform all requirements of lower sheet‑metal job skill progression titles. Good working knowledge or ability to acquire the skills of a Lead Mechanic. Proficient working knowledge of the following skills and the ability to learn skills among various narrow and wide body commercial aircraft:
A moderate level of interpersonal skills is required to maintain an effective relationship with various departments, co‑workers and supervision.
Requires easy mobility around all sections of the facility and the dexterity to install various electrical, mechanical, plumbing systems. Must possess the ability to distinguish colors to perform work adequately. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and report to work regularly.
8 months commercial or military structures mechanic experience
