Creighton Manning, a GAI Company, seeks an experienced Structures Design Manager to lead the strategic growth and technical direction of its public-sector structures practice in Western New York. You will leverage an established NY network to win projects and guide delivery with strong client relations.

The role requires 15+ years in transportation engineering, a PE is preferred, and the incumbent will mentor staff while coordinating with leadership in Albany and Syracuse.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering transportation infrastructure design projects in NYS including structures design, construction, reconstruction and/or rehabilitation.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client relation skills.
• Established public-sector network in Western New York to support market growth.

Responsabilités

• Identify new project opportunities utilizing network connections and market research.
• Meet with current and prospective clients to maintain relationships and identify future needs.
• Develop teaming and operational strategies in response to market or client needs.
• Lead and support pursuit efforts, including technical proposals and interviews.
• Provide leadership for project delivery, staffing, and budget oversight.
• Support growth and development of the structures design team, including mentoring and hiring.
• Attend conferences and networking events to develop new leads.
