Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Structures Design Engineer to join our team. This role involves the design and analysis of tubular steel utility structures-primarily for transmission, distribution, and substation applications-ensuring compliance with national codes, industry standards, and customer specifications. Must have your PE or SE, PLS software experience is a huge plus. Salary, plus eligible for bonus, profit sharing, medical, dental, vision. Relocation assistance offered. Must not require sponsorship now, or any time in the future.

Responsibilities

• Review utility customer drawings and technical specifications.
• Design and analyze steel utility structures using 3D modeling software and proprietary tools.
• Support project phases from preliminary estimates to final design verification.
• Collaborate with sales, detailing, project management, and production teams.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Manage projects and customer territories upon achieving competency and licensure.
