Job summary

Generate Capital is seeking an experienced Associate, Structured Finance in New York to lead structuring, negotiation and closing of third-party capital for power assets. You will model debt and tax equity structures, coordinate with banks and investors, and support deal execution to meet timelines.

You will build and maintain financial models, prepare investor materials, and stay informed on market trends to inform strategy and capital deployment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of project finance debt and/or tax equity experience.
• Strong financial modeling, due diligence and deal execution.
• Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate and close third-party capital for assets.
• Support debt and tax equity structuring and due diligence.
• Build debt/ tax equity models and perform valuation analyses.
• Prepare investor, management and board materials.
• Maintain relationships with banks and tax equity investors.
• Monitor industry trends and information releases.
