Job summary

North DuPage Elementary Partnership is seeking a Structured Teaching Classroom Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role supports a Special Education Teacher under supervision, with immediate availability. Reports to Building Principal and Assigned Teacher.

Requires ISBE paraprofessional license, CPI certification or willingness to obtain, and experience with varied disabilities. Collaborates with staff to support IEPs and create an inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• State of Illinois Paraprofessional License issued by the ISBE.
• CPI certification or willingness to obtain training.
• Experience with students with varied disabilities.
• Ability to collaborate with staff and problem-solve effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of a Special Education Teacher; may be assigned additional responsibilities by Principal or Director of Student Services.
• Reports to Building Principal and Assigned Teacher.
• Assist in implementing individual education plans and support inclusive classroom activities.
