Job summary

Next Level Technician is hiring a Low Voltage Cable Technician in Greenville, SC. The role involves pulling, terminating, labeling, and testing CAT5e/CAT6 cabling within commercial structured cabling projects.

Candidates should have 2+ years of experience, read blueprints, and be comfortable traveling across the Greenville market. Fiber optic experience and industry certifications are a plus. Weekly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial structured cabling experience.
• Experience pulling, terminating, and testing CAT5e/CAT6 cabling.
• Ability to read blueprints/floor plans and follow project specs.
• Fiber optic experience is a plus.
• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, dress, label, and test CAT5e/CAT6 cabling.
• Assist with fiber optic installation, termination, and testing.
• Install and support MDF/IDF closets, racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, and pathways.
• Read and interpret blueprints and cable layouts.
• Maintain organized cable management and labeling standards.
• Work safely on ladders, lifts, and active construction sites.
• Troubleshoot and test installed cabling using testers and certification equipment.
• Follow customer and industry standards for commercial structured cabling installations.
