Job summary

Whatever You Need Consulting (WYN Consultants) in Dallas, TX is seeking a Structured Cabling Technician to design, install, and maintain cabling and telecommunications systems across client sites.

You will travel up to 95% nationwide with overnight stays, install and terminate cabling, troubleshoot issues, and work with remote support to ensure projects meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of consistent work experience preferred.

Are you someone who enjoys traveling, working with your hands, and solving technical challenges? We are seeking motivatedStructured Cabling Techniciansto join our growing Field Services team. The Structured Cabling Technician (VFT) plays a vital role in designing, installing, and maintaining high-quality cabling solutions for diverse client needs.

In this role, you'll travel to customer sites to install, maintain, and troubleshoot structured cabling and telecommunications equipment. You'll work directly with internal support teams and customers to ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

This Position Is for You If You:

• Enjoy traveling and are willing to travelup to 95%, including consecutive overnight stays.
  
• Are comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces.
  
• Have experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques.
  
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  
• Enjoy troubleshooting, problem-solving, and adapting to new challenges.
  
• Can work independently while utilizing remote technical support.
  
• Have experience installing, terminating, and tracing structured cabling, includingCat5, Cat6, Coaxial, and other low-voltage cabling.
