Job summary

Interlink Group, a regional technology integrator headquartered in Miami, Florida, is seeking an Installer II to join a project team and enhance site productivity through comprehensive cable installation activities including OSP/ISP, rack, patch, and grounding. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will work across cabling installations, testing, and troubleshooting with access to MS Office and field-specific tools, while meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fiber Optic Association CPCT preferred.
• Fiber Optic Association CFOT preferred.
• In-house training required: OSHA 30, Fire Stop, Hilti POWDER ACTUATED TOOLS, Scissor Lift Safety, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, First Aid/CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety as a core value and follow site policies.
• Install structured cabling systems and read floor plans.
• Set up testers and perform system testing and troubleshooting.
• Terminate, label, test, and commission cabling installations.
• Assist other Installers and lead on-site organization and housekeeping.
• Maintain professional appearance and ensure compliance with customer security requirements.
