Job summary

Next Level Technician in Summerville, SC is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to install and service structured cabling projects. The role offers $21–27/hr with weekly pay and benefits, plus opportunities for growth across a national footprint.

You will work on CAT5e/CAT6 cabling, terminations, testing, and installing access control, CCTV, AV, and fiber optic systems, with travel within South Carolina as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience.
• Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred.
• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus.
• Basic hand tools and PPE such as hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots.
• Working knowledge of telecom/data networks.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable.
• Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers).
• Punch down voice and data jacks.
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights).
• Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts.
• Install/support access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems.
