Job summary

Spring Independent School District invites applications for a Structured Behavior Support (SBS) Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at MARSHALL ES, Spring, Texas. The SBS Teacher provides intensive behavioral support inside and outside the classroom, coordinating with ARD teams to support students with challenging behaviors.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and a valid Texas SPED teaching certificate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required SPED endorsements

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements behavioral services with fidelity.
• Establish/maintain regular daily or weekly parent/guardian contact.
• Organize SBS team meetings and share student data with team members.
• Provide staff development on behavior programming for school personnel and parents.
• Supervise SBS paraprofessionals.
• Maintain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) certification.
• Attend SBS Connections meetings with district personnel.
• Design lesson plans aligned to IEP goals.
• Coordinate ARD/IEP processes and SBIEP documentation.
• Monitor and adjust behavior plans and accommodations in main‑stream classrooms.
