Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years Welding Trade experience.
• 2+ years Electric Boat experience.
• Preferred: teaching/instructor experience, 1/C Welder, higher degree, MDD-00948 VT certified.

Responsibilities

• Instructing classroom courses related to trade work and safety.
• Oversee hands-on training with practice and tests.
• Enforce safety rules and procedures.
• Assess student performance and identify nonconformances.
• Grade tests and quizzes to ensure understanding.
• Coordinate with other shifts and support special training projects.
• Available for overtime as needed.
