Job summary

Aerotek is hiring Structural Welders (Pulse Arc) for long‑term shipbuilding projects in Newport News, VA and Charleston, SC. This contract role is based out of Green Bay, WI and offers $45/hour plus $140/day per diem, with travel opportunities and weekly pay. Work includes large naval vessels and requires MIL-STD-248D welding tests.

Onsite in Green Bay, WI. Candidates should have Pulse Arc experience and shipyard welding background, with the ability to work in physically demanding environments

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-pass fillet and butt welds in all positions.
• Weld using Pulse Arc (GMAW-P).

• Weld Stick (SMAW).
• Perform Air Carbon Arc Gouging.
• Work on large-scale naval vessels.
• Pass MIL-STD-248D weld testing.

What You'll Do

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Green Bay, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
