Job summary

MCCLUNG MANAGEMENT LLC in Kilgore, TX is seeking an experienced welder to join our fabrication team. You will read blueprints, set up joints, and weld components using GMAW/MIG or flux-core processes in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions.

The ideal candidate has proven welding experience, the ability to read drawings, use a tape measure (US units) and stay focused in a fast-paced shop while following all safety procedures and quality standards. Pre-employment weld tests apply.

Qualifications

• Proven welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to read a tape measure in US units.
• Competence to pass weld tests.
• Able to work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints/d drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Weld components according to WPS; perform MIG/flux-core welding.
• Operate angle grinders, plasma cutter, or torch to prepare parts.
• Align beams and weld in vertical, horizontal or overhead positions.
• Maintain safety and adhere to company policies; perform additional duties as needed.
