Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret basic layout drawings and welding procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Commitment to safety rules and quality processes established by SIC.

Responsibilities

• Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding per metal properties and welding techniques.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
