Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. is seeking Structural Welders for a project in Apex, NC. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months. This role requires on-site work with strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Skilled in both written and verbal communication.
• Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.
• Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding, applying knowledge of metal properties and welding techniques.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using arc or gas welding methods.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
