Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Claremore, OK is seeking a Structural Combination Welder. You will fabricate, fit, and weld structural steel components using FCAW, GMAW, and SMAW (1G–4G, 6G) and interpret blueprints to meet strict industry standards.Responsibilities include layout, tack welding, equipment setup, quality inspections, and maintaining weld quality and safety compliance on on-site projects. OSHA rules apply. Candidate must pass carbon steel plate tests and inspections.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in structural steel fabrication or industrial welding.
• AWS (D1.1) certification or ability to pass onsite weld tests.
• Proficient in FCAW and SMAW; knowledge of weld positions 1G-4G and 6G.
• Able to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Able to lift and work in confined spaces and follow safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Welding & fabrication: FCAW, GMAW (MIG), SMAW on carbon steel and other metals.
• Blueprint interpretation: read and follow structural drawings and welding symbols.
• Fit-Up and Layout: lay out, align, fit, and tack weld components before final welding.
• Equipment Maintenance: set up and maintain welding machines, torches, grinders.
• Quality Control: inspect welds for visual quality and code compliance.
• Safety Compliance: adhere to OSHA safety regulations and PPE requirements.
