MW Watermark in Michigan is seeking an experienced welder to perform structural welding for large water treatment machinery using MIG and TIG processes.

You will pre- and post-weld prep, read shop drawings, and work with carbon and stainless steel. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and adherence to safety procedures in a factory environment.

This full-time, onsite position offers hourly compensation and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement within a small passionate team.

Formación

• 1+ year of experience in structural welding of steel components.
• 1+ year of experience with MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Weld certifications are preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings and specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Structural welding of water treatment machinery components.
• Pre weld prep of subcomponents and post weld prep for paint; includes removal of sharp edges, burrs, weld spatter and slag by grinding, chiseling, etc.
• Some non-structural welding of carbon and stainless steel.
• Operation of saws, drills, shears, breaks, etc.
• Operation of forklifts.
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Promote and contribute to a continuous improvement culture.
• Other duties as assigned.
