Qualifications

• Must read fabrication drawings and welding procedure specs.
• Experience welding in flat/vertical/overhead positions.
• Knowledge of metallurgy and fixture setup.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze fabrication drawings to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
• Work with QC and inspectors to meet project specs and quality standards.
• Inspect weld preps and joints to ensure proper fit-up and welds.
• Operate welding tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Weld components in multiple positions (flat, vertical, overhead).
• Ensure accuracy of fabricated components and test where required.
