Job summary

Dover Corp in Indiana is seeking a skilled structural welder to join our manufacturing team. This role requires performing GMAW welding (semi-automatic and automatic) with occasional SAW and adhering to safety protocols in a warehouse environment.

You will read blueprints, set up fixtures, adjust heat and travel speed, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, safe work area. PPE is required and lifting limits apply, with supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass general aptitude/basic math skills test.
• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs multiple times per day.
• Must pass welding coupon test.
• Must pass written welding test.

Responsibilities

• Perform general welding using GMAW semi-automatic and automatic equipment; occasional SAW.
• Set up fixtures; adjust welding parameters for penetration, fill and quality.
• Load/unload fixtures and operate hoists; direct helpers as needed.
• Read blueprints; maintain tolerances; inspect finished parts.
