CIVES Steel Company in Wolcott, IN is hiring a Welder to prepare, arrange, fit, and assemble a variety of materials using MIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding in a busy steel fabrication facility.

The role requires a high school diploma or welding program graduate, or 2+ years welding experience with pipe welding tests, plus capability to read drawings and operate shop equipment. We offer competitive pay, multiple shifts, OT, 401k, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or welding program graduate.
• 2+ years industrial/construction welding experience acceptable with pass on weld tests (pipe).
• Ability to interpret drawings and execute production using blueprints and methods.
• Certification in SMAW and FCAW preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, arrange, fit, and assemble materials using MIG, stick, and flux core welding.
• Make welds in all positions as required by drawings.
• Interpret and execute production using drawings, blueprints, planning, and methods.
• Operate material-moving equipment and shop tooling as needed.
