Structural Welder

Key Role:

Work with the fabrication process that joins materials, usually metals, primarily using high temperature to melt the parts together and allowing them to cool causing fusion. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. Assist in the development of solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work under general supervision. Provide guidance for less experienced team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in welding
• 5+ years of experience working with MIG and TIG welding steel and aluminum in a production environment
• Experience reading and interpreting prints and specifications for fabrication and welding
• Experience operating precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, protractors, and tape measures
• Ability to work in a team environment with engineering, quality, and supply chain
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain an ASME Welding Certification within 60 days of hire date

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
