Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Mechanical/Aerospace engineer to lead structural test activities including static, fatigue, and dynamic environments. You will coordinate with Stress, Systems, Purchasing, and Quality to ensure test requirements are met and lead technicians in executing testing tasks.

Responsibilities include fixture design, 3D model inspection, and creating setup documentation. Proficiency in CATIA V5 and MS Office with strong communication skills is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering.
• 3+ years relevant test experience in Materials or Structural Testing.
• Experience with instrumentation sensors including Strain Gages, Force Cells, Pressure Sensors, Thermocouples, Extensometers, and Displacement Transducers.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 and MS Office; strong written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review Test Plans/Requirements and coordinate with Stress, Systems, Purchasing, and Quality to ensure test requirements are implemented.
• Work with instrumentation sensors and lead a group of technicians to accomplish testing tasks.
• Create and implement testing solutions including fixture design and fabrication.
• Inspect 3D models and generate documents for test setup.
