Responsibilities

• Raises, places and unites girders and columns on construction projects.
• Operates hoisting equipment and assists rigging.
• Guides steel members into position using tag lines and holds, observing safety.
• Bolts, welds or secures structural steel components.
• Works with crew to ensure alignment and structural integrity.
• Manages physical demands including lifting up to 70 pounds and working at heights.
