Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is hiring Stick/Wire Welders for a premier structural steel fabrication company in Apache Junction, AZ. The role focuses on welding, fabrication, and assembly of structural steel components for commercial projects.

Candidates should have 2+ years of Stick or Wire welding experience, be able to read blueprints and measurements, and work safely in a shop and field environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Stick and/or Wire welding experience.
• Structural steel fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures and blueprints.
• Experience using fabrication and metalworking tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform Stick (SMAW) and Wire/MIG (GMAW/FCAW) welding on structural steel components
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and measuring tools
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble steel structures and canopy systems
• Operate grinders, saws, torches, and other fabrication equipment
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with specifications
• Assist with steel installation and erection projects as needed
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
