Job summary

Aerotek is hiring Welders and Fitters for a Spokane, WA structural steel fabrication shop. This contract-to-hire role offers $22.00-$32.00/hour, overtime opportunities, and benefits. Work is in a production environment with no field welding.

Minimum 3+ years welding experience required; FCAW or Hardwire welding; ability to read blueprints; WABO/AWS certification preferred but not mandatory. Benefits include medical, 401(k), and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years welding experience.
• Flux Core (FCAW) or Hardwire welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Experience fitting and fabricating structural steel components.
• WABO or AWS certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Flux Core Dual Shield (FCAW) welding on structural steel components.
• Complete high-volume fillet welds on steel I-beams, columns, and other structural materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Fit, fabricate, and assemble structural steel components.
• Assist with material handling and movement of steel products as needed.
• Maintain quality standards and follow all workplace safety procedures.
• Work in a production/shop environment (no field or job-site welding).
