Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an experienced Welder for a 1st shift team assembling structural steel components. You will weld using fluxcore, TIG, MIG and stick methods, read shop drawings, and plan layouts for precise assemblies.

Requirements include a minimum of 5 years welding experience, the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs, and the use of your own welding helmet and steel-toe boots. A welding skills assessment is required.

Responsibilities

• Weld a variety of materials using fluxcore, TIG, MIG, and stick methods.
• Read shop drawings and weld fillet gauges to plan layout, assembly, and welding.
• Position, align, and fit components, then bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them for welding.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting, and repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling.
