Qualifications

• Attention to detail with focus on weld quality and conformance to specs.

• Experience in structural steel QC or inspection roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect structural steel components and confirm conformance.
• Evaluate welding per AWS D1.1, AWS D1.5, AISC and related standards.
• Maintain inspection records and quality logs.
• Calibrate welding equipment and QC tools.
• Assist with welder qualification testing.
• Support training on welding and quality standards.
• Read drawings and verify materials.
• Promote safety and housekeeping on the shop floor.
