Job summary

EZARC, Inc. in Phoenix seeks a skilled Structural Steel Ironworker to assemble and erect steel frames on outdoor construction sites. You will read blueprints, work with crane operators, and ensure safe, accurate installation of beams, joists, decking, and other components.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years structural steel erection experience.
• Ability to read erection and shop drawings.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Phoenix area job sites.

Responsibilities

• Erect structural steel framework using cranes, rigging, and hand tools.
• Align, bolt, and weld steel components per project drawings.
• Install steel decking, joists, and bridging.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE at all times.
• Interpret erection drawings and layout instructions.
• Coordinate with crane operators to guide loads safely.
• Perform rigging and hoisting operations.
• Inspect tools and equipment daily for safe operation.
• Collaborate with foremen and welders to meet schedule and quality.
• Adhere to EZARC safety policies and OSHA standards.
