Job summary

3i Construction Management is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support daily field operations on structural steel projects. You will help plan schedules, coordinate crane access, and oversee erection sequencing while ensuring safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of commercial construction experience with structural steel coordination, strong reading of drawings, and proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Requires OSHA 30 certification and working knowledge of Procore and Bluebeam.
Ability to read and interpret structural steel plans and shop drawings.
Experience coordinating steel erection with trades, schedules, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist the Superintendent in planning and maintaining project schedules for structural steel work.
Coordinate steel erection sequencing, crane access, material staging, and installation logistics.
Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure alignment with plans, specs, and schedule.
Support field workforce management and safety programs on site.
Maintain project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and records with Project Engineers.
