Job summary

United Steel Inc. is seeking a Field Foreman for Misc. Metals Field Operations. This role leads skilled labor crews and coordinates erection activities, ensuring efficient use of manpower, equipment, and materials to complete projects on schedule.

The position emphasizes safety, adherence to QA/QC procedures, and effective communication with other trades and departments. Travel to jobsites is expected as part of field oversight.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to jobsites.
• Familiarity with structural erection works; 5+ years as Foreman or Lead.

Responsibilities

• Lead and control skilled labor and crews in all erection works.
• Read and follow method statements, drawings, and specifications; maintain records and action lists.
• Supervise crews during construction of buildings and structural steel; coordinate with Field Superintendent.
