Job summary

TradeWorX is seeking an experienced Lead Structural Steel Fabricator to join our growing fabrication team on the 1st shift. The role features a competitive hourly pay rate from $28.00 to $32.00 per hour based on experience, with Monday–Friday hours and overtime available as needed.

You will read blueprints, layout, and fit structural steel components, operate fabrication equipment, and MIG weld to specifications while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Structural steel fabrication experience required.
• True layout experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience assembling, cutting, shaping, and fitting structural steel components.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to pass a 5-panel drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assemble welded components into finished products.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and two- or three-dimensional drawings.
• Perform layout work and determine required materials and dimensions.
• Assemble, cut, shape, and fit structural steel components to specifications.

Pay & Schedule $28.00–$32.00/hour (based on experience) 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6: 00 AM –2: 30 PM Overtime available as needed.
