Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking skilled workers for structural steel erection, rigging, and welding on projects in the United States. Candidates should have documented field experience and the ability to read and interpret instructions, plans, and safety rules.

Responsibilities include hoisting, positioning, bolting, and welding steel members, while ensuring alignment and safe operation on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Prior field experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and plans.

Responsibilities

• Set up hoisting equipment and raise structural steel members.
• Fasten steel members to hoist cable using chains or ropes.
• Signal hoist operator to lift and place members.
• Guide members into position using tag lines and hand signals.
• Bolt and weld steel components; verify alignment.
• Transport and handle materials and tools; perform minor maintenance.
