Process Equipment & Controls, LLC. seeks an experienced Industrial Painter to prepare and coat structural steel components, ensuring durability and quality. You will apply primers, paints, and protective systems using spray guns, brushes, and rollers, while maintaining safety standards and following project specs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to work outdoors/indoors, lift up to 51 pounds, and collaborate with teammates to meet schedules.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hands-on painting experience in structural steel or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of primers, paints, thinners and their application methods.
• Ability to use spray guns, brushes and rollers for coatings.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
• Strict safety practices when working with hazardous materials.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare steel for coating by cleaning, grinding, sanding, and wiping down.
• Apply primers, paints, and protective systems tailored to components.
• Use spray guns, brushes, and rollers for even coverage and finish.
• Inspect surfaces for contaminants, rust, and defects prior to coating.
• Mix primers and paints to specification and maintain equipment.
• Perform coatings per industry standards and project specs.
• Work safely with PPE and follow safety protocols.
• Handle, store, and dispose of paints and thinners per regs.
• Maintain spray equipment and tools in peak condition.
• Coordinate with team to keep schedules on track and per spec.
