Wild Goose Chase is looking for a Structural Technician to join our team in Indianapolis. This role involves installing and maintaining bird control solutions while working both onsite and remotely. Candidates from the Midwest, especially the Indianapolis metro area, are preferred.

This position performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to installing bird deterrence and exclusion solutions, cleaning bird fecal matter, trapping birds, and explaining or representing the company and our science-based solutions to customers. Structural technicians spend at least half of their time onsite at customer locations, installing, maintaining, or evaluating solutions. While not in the field, technicians are expected to meet regularly with the Wild Goose Chase team (virtually or in person) to communicate on status of jobs, receive future assignments, contribute feedback and ideas to improve team processes, etc.
To perform tasks associated with this role, the candidate needs to be based out of the Midwest, but willing to travel by car and airplane across the U.S. to service customers. Candidates based in the Chicago metro area, Indianapolis metro area, Milwaukee metro area, and Detroit metro area are preferred. An ideal candidate would be an outdoors man or woman, comfortable working with wildlife, and/or a trades person comfortable working with handheld and power tools for structural installations. This job is well suited for someone interested in variety in their day-to-day. We’re looking for hands‑on problem solvers and collaborative team‑players with can‑do attitudes.
