Job summary

CONCRE Restoration is seeking an experienced Structural Restoration Superintendent to lead field operations on condominium, commercial-building, facade, balcony, and parking-structure restoration projects across South Florida.

This is a full-time, on-site role requiring practical field experience with structural concrete repair and related building-restoration work, coordinating crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and project team while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of construction field-supervision experience.
• Experience in structural concrete restoration, facade/balcony/parking-garage repair or similar rehab work.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and technical documents.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, field crews, inspections, and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of safety, fall protection and quality-control procedures.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Availability to work on-site throughout South Florida.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily structural restoration activities and coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors and equipment.
• Supervise concrete demolition, surface prep, reinforcement, formwork, repair materials, waterproofing, and coatings.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements before execution.
• Coordinate field activities with the Project Manager and Engineer of Record.
• Identify deterioration after concrete removal and document findings.
• Track locations, dimensions, quantities, manpower, materials, and production.
• Maintain daily reports, photos, inspection records, and supporting docs.
• Ensure repairs comply with project documents and manufacturer requirements.
• Coordinate access systems, scaffolding, lifts, and site logistics.
• Conduct pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and daily safety inspections.
• Enforce OSHA requirements and fall-protection procedures.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, mockups, and QA activities.
• Monitor schedules and communicate delays or corrective actions.
• Maintain professional communication with property managers, residents, and trade partners.

We are seeking an experienced Structural Restoration Superintendent to lead field operations on condominium, commercial-building, facade, balcony, and parking-structure restoration projects.

This is not a general new-construction superintendent position. Candidates must have practical field experience with structural concrete repair or closely related building-restoration work.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time, on-site position serving projects throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

The Structural Restoration Superintendent will be responsible for safely, organized, and efficiently executing daily field operations. The successful candidate will coordinate crews, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and the project team while maintaining strict control over safety, quality, schedule, repair quantities, and documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct daily structural restoration activities and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, vendors and equipment.
• Supervise concrete demolition, surface preparation, reinforcing-steel treatment and replacement, formwork, repair-material placement, waterproofing, sealants and protective coatings.
• Review drawings, specifications, repair details, field directives, and project requirements before execution.
• Coordinate field activities with the Project Manager and Engineer of Record.
• Identify and document concealed or additional deterioration discovered after concrete removal.
• Track repair locations, dimensions, quantities, manpower, materials, and daily production.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, photographs, inspection records, and supporting documentation.
• Verify that repairs are performed according to project documents, approved materials, manufacturer requirements, and field instructions.
• Coordinate access systems, scaffolding, swing stages, suspended platforms, lifts and site logistics.
• Conduct pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and daily safety inspections.
• Enforce OSHA requirements, fall-protection procedures, housekeeping standards and project-specific safety plans.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, mockups and quality-control activities.
• Monitor project schedules, anticipate field constraints and communicate delays or required corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain professional communication with property managers, condominium representatives, residents, consultants and trade partners.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of five years of construction field-supervision experience.
• Demonstrated experience in structural concrete restoration, concrete repair, facade restoration, balcony restoration, parking-garage repair or comparable rehabilitation work.
• Strong knowledge of concrete demolition, reinforcing-steel corrosion, repair preparation, formwork and concrete or repair-mortar placement.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, repair details and technical documents.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, field crews, inspections, equipment and construction logistics.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety, fall protection and quality-control procedures.
• Ability to prepare accurate daily reports and use mobile field applications, email, spreadsheets, and basic construction-management software.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Availability to work on-site throughout South Florida.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• ICRI Concrete Surface Repair Technician certification or relevant ICRI training.
• Experience with occupied condominium restoration projects.
• Experience with swing stages, suspended scaffolds, aerial lifts or high-rise facade access.
• Competent Person or other recognized scaffold/fall-protection training.
• Experience documenting and quantifying discovered repair conditions.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese communication skills.
