Jobot is seeking a project engineer in Chattanooga to manage, design, and detail building structures. You will act as a liaison between design professionals and the firm’s Principals, selecting structural systems and conducting analyses, while developing drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• MS in Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience designing building structures.
• Professional Engineer Registration required.
• RAM or RISA analysis software experience; REVIT proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage, design, and detail building structures independently and as part of a team.
• Liaise between design professionals and Principals.
• Select structural systems and conceptual framing; perform analysis and design calculations.
• Develop construction drawings and specifications; self-perform drafting and written texts.
• Review shop drawings and contractor’s work during construction.
