Job summary

Larson Engineering in Clive, IA is seeking a Project Manager – Structural with a PE license and 10+ years of engineering leadership to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and deliver complex projects.

You will develop project plans, manage budgets, support client relationships, and help grow the practice across multiple offices. This on-site role offers an employee-owned environment, ESOP, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• 10+ years engineering experience.
• Proven experience managing projects and coordinating across engineering teams.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple office locations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates multiple projects or large projects with moderate complexity, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Develops project plans, scope, and criteria, and oversees execution by project teams.
• Performs construction administration activities and supports project delivery through all phases.
• Maintains client relationships and supports business development efforts, including networking and use of CRM/tools.
• Prepares fee proposals and supports pursuit efforts with Department Manager guidance.
• Supports development of junior engineers and designers through day-to-day guidance and training.
• Monitors project financial performance, including budget tracking and coordination on receivables.
• Conducts existing condition evaluations and prepares technical reports.
• Ensures compliance with design safety standards and company expectations.
• Other duties as assigned.
