Job summary

Mericle Construction, Inc. is seeking a Structural Project Manager with a strong background in pre-engineered metal building systems to lead complex commercial/industrial projects in the Scranton area.

You will manage multiple projects from design through completion, coordinating designers, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel to meet safety, schedule, budget, and quality goals. This role requires at least five years of relevant PM experience, direct P.E.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial or industrial construction management experience.
  • Direct experience with pre-engineered metal buildings required.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of pre-engineered building projects from kickoff through closeout.
  • Coordinate project planning, scheduling, procurement, and construction activities.
  • Review construction documents, shop drawings, structural steel drawings, and erection plans.
  • Work closely with manufacturing representatives, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to company leadership.
  • Coordinate steel erection, roofing, wall panel installation, foundations, and trades.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Participate in project meetings and conduct site visits as required.

Structural Project Manager (Regular Full Time)

Mericle Construction, Inc. is seeking an experiences Structural Project Manager / Construction Professional specializing in pre-engineered metal building systems to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in commercial / industrial construction who understands the unique requirements of pre-engineered building projects from design through completion.

The successful candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating design teams, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Mericle Construction, Inc. is the largest, full-service developer of industrial, office, flex, and medical space along Pennsylvania’s I-81 Corridor. Mericle has developed more than 100 buildings in the Scranton/Pittston/Wilkes-Barre/Hazleton area. The Mericle team includes licensed architects, land planners, professional engineers, surveyors, licensed electricians, plumbers, carpenters, leasing and marketing professionals, property managers, and more.
