A well-established structural engineering group is seeking a Project Manager to lead building restoration and structural design efforts across commercial and mixed-use markets. This role offers full project ownership from early-stage development through construction administration, with a strong emphasis on client engagement, technical execution, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural projects from kickoff through design and construction administration
- Serve as primary client liaison and manage consultant coordination
- Prepare proposals, scope development, and participate in project interviews
- Oversee structural assessments and restoration strategies for existing buildings and parking structures
- Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and deliverables
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants
- Track project performance including hours, budgets, and financial reporting
- Support contract negotiation and execution strategy
- Maintain and expand long-term client relationships
Qualifications
- 5+ years of structural project management experience in building design or restoration
- Experience managing full project lifecycle on commercial or parking structure work
- Prior role as prime consultant strongly preferred
- Exposure to mixed-use, commercial, or parking structure projects a plus
- PE license required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural focus preferred)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and ETABS (STAAD or SAP2000 a plus)
- Strong communication, leadership, and client management skills
