Structural Bridge Manager — Philadelphia Suburbs

A leading civil & transportation engineering firm in the Philadelphia suburbs is seeking an experienced Structural Bridge Manager to lead bridge design, inspection, and rehabilitation projects across municipal, DOT, and infrastructure programs. This is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for team mentoring, project delivery, and client coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee structural bridge design, analysis, and inspection projects
• Lead and mentor engineering staff and project teams
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and contractors across active projects
• Ensure compliance with PennDOT, AASHTO, and local standards
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control
• Support business development and proposal efforts when needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (or Master’s) in Civil/Structural Engineering
• PE license required (PA preferred or ability to obtain)
• 8+ years of structural or bridge engineering experience
• Proven project management and team leadership skills
• Experience with PennDOT projects strongly preferred
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software
