6AM City, LLC is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Structural Project Manager to lead residential design projects in the Charlotte region and along the east coast.

You will collaborate with builders, architects, and engineers, apply CAD tools, and ensure compliance with structural standards, delivering clear documentation and buildable details. This role requires strong communication, problem solving, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Forteweb, Enercalc, and Clearcalc.
• Strong background in structural design principles for residential construction.
• Experience drafting plans and structural details.
• EI certification required (or attainable within 6 months) with goal to pursue P.E.

This role requires proficiency in various design software and a strong understanding of structural design principles, residential construction methods, and common procedures used in residential framing and concrete installation.

• Develop and understand detailed structural designs using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with builders, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to create comprehensive design solutions.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Forteweb and various other design software for drafting and design documentation.
• Create structural details to present concepts effectively to clients.
• Conduct structural design assessments to ensure functionality and safety of structures.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the design process.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD software, with experience in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Forte, Enercalc, Clearcalc, and various design software is required.
• Strong background in structural design principles.
• Experience in residential construction is necessary.
• Ability to draft plans and structural details accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• Customer Service skills are a must.
• E.I. certification is required (or attainable within 6 months). We are looking for a candidate with a strong interest to obtain P.E. licensure.
