Larson is seeking an experienced structural engineer with 15 or more years of experience to serve as a mentor to early‑career engineers on our structural team. The ideal candidate will have design experience across a wide range of building project types (commercial, educational, health care, residential, and industrial). A self‑starter with strong communication skills, self‑discipline, willingness to learn, and flexibility is essential. This hybrid position can be based in either the Appleton or Wauwatosa office.

Basic Qualifications

• 15 or more years of experience
• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• MS Office experience (Word and Excel)
• Self‑motivated and strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Business Development and networking
• Experience leading project design teams and coordinating client communication
• Experience managing direct reports, including staff development

Preferred Qualifications

• M.S. in Structural Engineering
• Licensed Structural Engineer
• Revit experience
• RISA experience
