Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer to manage, design, and detail building structures in Lexington, KY. You will act as a liaison between design professionals and Principals, selecting structural systems and conceptual framing, performing analysis and calculations, and developing construction drawings and specs.

Requirements include a Master of Science in Structural Engineering, a PE license, 4+ years of design experience, RAM or RISA familiarity, and REVIT proficiency.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in the design of building structures.
• Professional Engineer Registration required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, design, and detail building structures independently or with a team.
• Liaise between design professionals and Principals; select structural systems and framing.
• Develop construction drawings and specifications; review shop drawings and contractor work.
