Job summary

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning environmental engineering firm, seeks a Structural Project Engineer to handle diverse structural design projects within water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure.

Responsibilities include designing tanks and reinforced concrete structures, preparing budgets, coordinating with multi-discipline teams, and using Revit, Bluebeam, and Teams. 5–15 years of relevant experience and EIT required; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred; Engineer in Training (EIT) required.
• 5–15 years of structural engineering experience, municipal water/wastewater preferred.

Responsibilities

• Structurally design water and wastewater facilities.
• Prepare structural design budgets.
• Visually assess structures and document deficiencies.
• Evaluate renovations and modifications feasibility.
• Design new and renovate existing buildings in reinforced concrete, masonry, wood and steel.
• Design above and below grade reinforced concrete tanks.
• Prepare project-specific structural specs.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams using Bluebeam.
• Perform drawing work with Revit and coordinate with Revit technicians.
• Construction cost estimating.
• Prepare punch lists and respond to RFI.
